FUNCTIONAL ORTHOTICS

Functional orthotics are designed to correct abnormal foot mechanics and improve overall alignment, providing essential support for patients who need more stability and control in their gait. Made from firmer, resilient materials, these orthotics help correct issues such as overpronation, supination, and flat feet, which can lead to further complications in the knees, hips, and lower back.

Functional orthotics are commonly prescribed for conditions like plantar fasciitis, patellar tendinitis, and iliotibial (IT) band syndrome. Each pair is custom-crafted based on the patient’s specific biomechanics, offering precise adjustments to promote a healthier, more balanced stride and relieve stress on the joints.

Custom-Made Orthotics

At Forward Motion Medical, each pair of orthotics is meticulously hand-crafted using molds of the patient’s feet, ensuring a perfect fit and personalized support. Unlike mass-produced options, our orthotics involve no generic libraries; they’re individually made from the ground up to match each patient's unique needs.

The above built-in templates are used as a starting referencer. Every feature of our orthotics—from the materials to the arch height and cushioning—is fully customizable, allowing doctors to address specific requirements and enhance comfort and performance of patients.
